It’s hard, I know. I can’t pretend to understand your personal struggles. Everyone goes through different experiences. There will be times when you aren’t sure if you’ll make it through. I understand that. But you need to understand that you aren’t alone.
You might have to deal with mental illness or physical sickness. Perhaps you have lost a loved one. Maybe you’re trying to shake an addiction, and there are days where it’s just too hard for you. You could be struggling under physical or verbal abuse. Or maybe you’re just having a hard time.
No matter what the cause is for your trials, there is something extremely important for you to know. Something that can give you hope and strength if you let it. Something that can improve every aspect of your life: Everything will be okay.
You’re probably rolling your eyes right now. That’s what everyone says, right? It’s almost become an automatic response we give anyone who’s struggling. But here’s the thing: it’s true.
No matter what has happened to you or is still happening to you, no matter how dark things have been for you, it will all work out. It always does. Sure, sometimes you have to go through quite a bit first, but there are always better times on the way.
If you believe that- and I mean really believe it- you can get through anything. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it sucks. Yes, there will be times when you want to quit. Such is life. Get up off the ground, brush yourself off, and keep pressing forward till you feel the joy again. It’s there, I promise.
My desire in writing this today is to encourage you to keep going. You’re doing better than you think you are. So please don’t quit. Don’t let the doubt and the frustration beat you.
You can do this. I believe in you. If you need help, ask for it. Heck, shoot me an email if you need to. Just don’t give up.
Here’s to the better days ahead, my friend. Let’s make them happen.
