It can require a lot of energy to be friends with or in a relationship with someone with anxiety, but it can make a big difference in someone’s life.
Should we all just keep quiet on what we believe and feel? That sounds like a pretty lonely life to me. I would like to suggest a better option. This will require the cooperation of everyone involved, but I believe that if we do our best, we can get rid of that awkward tension around the dinner table.
Depression is hard—to say the least. You need to know, however, that there is always hope. There will always be a brighter day ahead. Don’t let yourself doubt that.
